About
Anon Ray
Yes, that’s my name! Yes, my name means Anonymous in English, but its intended meaning is a Bengali word.
I’m a software engineer by profession, and a hacker and explorer by nature. After graduating in CS, I have mostly worked in web applications, backend systems, and server infrastructures. I have also hacked on wireless mesh networks a bit, and helped build software infrastructure for hosting large number of internet applications.
My broad interests are in systems theory, programming languages and algorithms.
Apart from CS, I am intersted in music, natural history, and in sustainable living. I am also a birder and trek occasionally. I like intellectual ramblings on a lazy afternoon or past midnight (you get the point).
Currently, I work at Hasura on various products. I work on a PaaS, microservices, Kubernetes, GraphQL, and write code mostly in Haskell with smatterings of Python, Javascript and Bash.
In the past I have worked with HashCube a gaming company, Janastu an NGO that provides FOSS solutions to other NGOs/NPOs, and on a Govt. of India project called Virtual Labs.
